2412 latest version is not named trial and seems to be fine.makeup gain still +48.

7236 latest version( sorted by date after download) seems broken in the way frog and oøt wrote. same things happen here.

Pink2412-T VST Mac Installer Vers 1_4_065 is ok now. Thanks to Italo!
Looking very much forward to try the bundle:)

Can’t comment on AU-versions and validations. For one thing, all installers needs to be code signed.

Ok we know the reason: there was the beta version instead of trial, so basically the license was not working

ok I'm now actually in USA, so I did just a quick test on these trial versions

version D (063) is exactly the same as version E (065), with a better CPU load. Version E has a fixed AUTO release. Both versions have a mistake in the skin, makeup ranges till 24 apparently but really it ranges in the old +48 mode

I compared also version B (059) and I confirm that GR meters were behaving slighly in a better way in the old version. It is just a visual thingy, take this trial with a grain of salt.

The purpose is giving an idea about the final product, so for example we are hurrying up on topics like "cpu load" because it is a detail relevant at this point. Sometimes we have regressions on things like meters or visual effects. I tested the sound and it is exactly the same, only the meter increases a bit when you raise makeup (this is an old issue you have in all our compressors when you are in overflow zone, so when you raise more gain than the reduction amount; we'll look for a way for minimizing this effect which is annoying on all our compressors).

Spent time with Rel E of the 2412. Still sounds great :).

Still wish you would make the makeup gain knob +/-. Every other compressor from all of your competitors has this. Every one I use anyway, from Waves to Slate to MJUC. It's not a deal breaker, but I don't understand your hesitation to do so. It's so simple and improves the design and user experience so much. Please consider changing it from +48dB to +/-24dB (+/- 12dB would be even better for more control). It would be an important improvement.

What is the input trim supposed to do? Is it supposed to raise levels on the way in and compensate by lowering levels on the way out? It's not doing this. It is acting like a simple level. Makes A/Bing impossible.

Anyway, +/- makeup knob please. Please, please, please, please, please.

for me Input trim Works how it should be.and Love this waY of Input Control. it raise levels on the way in and compensate by lowering levels on the way out. so no need for negative makeupgain. If there where ratios like 1:5 and counterwise 5:1 it would make Sense .(hint hint hint giancarlo :D )
have no IdeA why Input trim doesnt work for you.
maybe Something is wrong with your installier. really really would like it work for you.

best regards

I'm a bit confused now... Would like to finally test the comps but waited till now because of all the different problems.

So, is there a working version for MAC where everything is fixed? Can somebody tell me please? and about the cpu improvement of the newer releases, is it also working for mac or just windows for now?

thanks :)

The only trouble reported is in gr meter.
It's something we are working on
It is not a new issue, it affects all our compressors, this time is just more visible. We are looking for a definitive solution

input trim on 2412 is not working correctly. no way to attenuate the output. that was the whole point of having it.

the entire level is changing, not just the input

Actually it is an "input" as stated in the user manual
It will be converted to "input trim" soon

Hi,
I can report a couple of issues in Logic 10.2.3:
-The new freq markers on the crossovers are different than v.059
The new 4k equals the old 6k, and the new 6k the old 12k.
There might be other anomalies, but I didn't check.

-Lowering the input trim increases treble by a fair amount, not subtle!

-Increasing input trim causes no increase in compression in the treble band, (all the way to +24).
Edit, its only the metering that's not updating, reduction is taking place.
