I've never met one single person, in internet or real life, who doesn't resort to presets for multiband processors. Starting from scratch? Sorry but that's not gonna happen, pro or amateur, everyone uses presets to get an idea of what a multiband processor does. Multiband plug-ins aren't for the faint of heart and it's a very difficult processor to understand and master. A set of presets is essential in this case (only for PINK7236). Believe it or not, presets sell plug-ins.

I have never used a preset for a multiband compressor. I have always started from scratch. Always. I hate presets for compressors. Never use them.

New Pink 7236 & 2412 Trial rel. C released for Windows platform.
This release increases the performance and reduces the CPU load.

NOTE 1: we tested with 4 stereo tracks, 4 instances, one in each track at 24 bits, 96 kHz, 1024 buffer, in playback with non zero latency instances.

NOTE 2: Pink Compressor bundle include sampled side chain filter and SHMode, both increase CPU load however CPU load is less than in Titanium 3 band compressor.

As you can see,
1: pink multiband is lighter than titanium now
2: pink single band is lighter than pink compressor featured in pink strip channel
3: you can calculate the cpu load for a single instance just subtracting the cpu amount "no" and dividing by 4 (4 instances, 6% cpu used with "no" any compressor engaged)

2016 plan for G...

1. Add input trim to 7236 & release 2412 & 7236.

2. Code new authorization system. Use 5 year old subject to test. Release.

3. G starts new company called "Effortless Authorizations" to sell super-secure & super-easy new authorization system to other developers.

4. G abandons Acustica project because new authorization company is making so much $$$$$.

5. G moves to beachside resort in tax-haven of Antigua.

6. G eats Pollo Cubana.

Pink 7236 (1.4.63) failing AU validation here on Logic 10.2.3. Ticket raised.

Uninstalled 1.4.063 and reinstalled 1.4.059 and I'm back to normal. Something wrong with the latest installer on my set-up guys. Ticket outstanding.
