Just curious if you can reveal which revision of the HW was used for this sampling, as I believe there are 7 total. Some changes were cosmetic but I've heard others mention the later revisions began to sound a bit better.

Yes, the ability to work on different computers, in different studios, like with ilok or dongles is mandatory and standard nowadays.

I was talking about deleting old licenses and registering new hardware/os ourselves, not submitting tickets (that get no reply) every time that happens. The way other big plugin companies do.
God forbid going the dongle way (which I'm pretty sure won't happen, although with the release of AAX, a lot of ProTools users could request that thing).

More flexible protection system based in the current challenge/response is under research.
Ilok2 USB hardware protection is possible but expensive think about 30% of price increase in all products regardless of whether you use it or not.
