Re: Titanium (multiband compressor)
shure it is great because you can use it as a multiband. you can compress mids and highs only and the sub will survive. or you can on a buss tame mids on electric guitars. it is really great and can even work as an eq by boosting frequency ranges... but it will be awesome with more tone / character and core 8 possibilities. And i have to admit that it is very cpu-heavy.
many have titanium... i think more than murano. i do not know why acustica updates just the pieces which many people bought...

So, I'd pretty much have to freeze all my tracks, before I thought about putting it anywhere near 2 bus.
Thanks for the answer flipnaut.

G,
I'm thinking about purchasing this but myself and others are curious - are you planning to update this to core8 anytime soon?
Thanks,
MG

This was what Giancarlo said in a Gearslutz forum this morning:
"Yes also titanium.
We have release dates planned but we prefer to announce as soon as we are sure about it! But definitively murano, titanium and even ultramarine are going to be updated with the new tech"
So I bought it today! Hooray! I sure hope this gets updated sometime soon!

Re: Titanium (multiband compressor)
This is killer news - thanks for the update G! Can't wait for this to be core8!!!
I used this in a mix today on drums and vox and it was incredible. The compressor as-is was very good sounding and usable, though a bit jumpy. Overall I am super pleased. The heavy tube tone of the this piece, combined with the fact that it's a multiband comp make this a must-have. With core8 this will be a top seller, no question, and I own Pink and Amethyst.
Stellar tones AA.
