Acqua Effect plug-ins next releases (2016)
Acqua Effect plug-ins next releases (2016)
We are preparing 2 equalizers and 2 compressors.
This will be the pattern of next releases: eq, comp, eq, comp
First product will be announced officially on next week. Code name is Amber, and I think you'll love it. Second is Titanium. Third is Green. And fourth obviously Black
Our small delay on compressor side it is just because I wanted to complete the tech on them, especially the autorelease at sampling time.
About amber.... it was my dream since I started coding nebula.
When you will report there are bugs you'll be perfectly right.

Scarab is a type of beetle...
Some form of E*I EQ then? E*I 920? Or maybe the EQ from a REDD desk? But then, is the yellowish-orange colour of amber a clue as well? Quick google search shows both of those things to be a bit of an aged, yellowed sort of hue.

And when do you think you will get to the tape machine,
The one with the color, saturation and compression all in one?

No idea what Titanium is but I'm very excited to see what you have planned.
Please maybe announce this one as well so we can start drooling.
Also very excited about auto release! This is great news, mix buss compressors here we come.

sure. On monday we'll go on presale for amber, and we'll show titanium. A product in presale is a "real" product,at least in alpha stage (so we can create a demo for example). We hope to go on presale for titanium before the end of the month. I know this is a tight schedule, but there are so MANY missing products on the market, we are trying to fix this gap as soon as possible.nonstandardryder wrote:No idea what Titanium is but I'm very excited to see what you have planned.

About auto release, yes, it is an exciting news. I'm testing right now a full automatic deconvolution. It means that next products will have an higher and more certified quality, because it reduces mistakes and human correction.

Re: Next releases - november + december
Im guessing Titanium is either an aval0n, an la2a, or a summ1t audi0.
I would also suggest not worrying about what other plugin developers have done. The reason they do that stuff is becuase it's what people want. This team does an amazing job and i would love to see some of the other stuff redone with your acqua technology. I would buy a plugin i already own from another developer if you guys made it in a heart beat!

Please sample new products with all sample rates.
I am ready to pay extra for 48 and 88.2 kHz.
Internal PROPER resampling on loading is wasting my time.

Re: Next releases - november + december
no in general we don't sample at different rates, but we convert them offline. Sampling at different rates would result a wrong approach - risk of a product which sounds differently if you select a different rate
Re: Next releases - november + december
OK.Convert them offline.
It would be nice to see Blue and Orange in 48 and 88.2

Re: Next releases - november + december
blue is native at 88, so it is not a trouble. Orange is a cheap product, I don't believe we'll modify it further
