Great,

Thanks for all the positive comments and Sound clips!

Initially when making this library I felt was quite close very quickly and thought I'd get the job done quick  but as usual you get 95% of the way there in a small amount of time, the rest takes a lot tweaking and experimentation over a long period. I spent a considerable amount of time comparing every position to hardware.

Looks like a few agree that this a great emulation

I tried sampling mine through NAT a few years ago. I know it's not that simple now  Didn't think I'd be excited about this release, but you really did well Tim

Where do skins and property files go when one uses a <ALTERNATIVEDATAPATH>? Doesn't seem to work when skins and properties subdir are at the same location as the programs and vectors in the alternative data path.

It appears to work if I put them in the normal data location, but is it supposed to work like that? Would be more convenient if they could go into the alternative data path too.

Yeah,

I had another customer ask me about this yesterday, valid points but as far as i know skins and properties are to go in the regular folders at this point. Then again there may be a redirection that could be made in a xml but i've not had the chance to look yet to see if thats possible.

all the best

You have to put them in the regular folders which makes total sense in my eyes.

As long as you have Programs, Vectors and Skins folders within them, you can point alternative data paths anywhere.

/Volumes/SSD/Nebula/Compressors/Programs
/Volumes/SSD/Nebula/Compressors/Skins
/Volumes/SSD/Nebula/Compressors/Vectors

Or

/Volumes/SSD/Nebula/TimP/Programs
/Volumes/SSD/Nebula/TimP/Skins
/Volumes/SSD/Nebula/TimP/Vectors

Put:

*.N2P in Programs
*.N2S in Skins
*.N2V in Vectors

Strange, but if so I'll try again. But surely .N2P goes into Programs, and .XML into Properties?

Ah, late night and wires crossed. Programs, not Properties (in all cases).

So then I ought to create an altpath/Properties for the .xml files too?

Could have sworn I did all this right, but will try again this evening when I find some time.
