This made the pre-skin appear.

I looked earlier and changed the address in properties. I'll take another look later. It's just a simple underscore (_) difference

Oh no, open the xml with text edit and change from <SKIN1> N60A PRE.N2S </SKIN1> to <SKIN1> N60A_PRE.N2S </SKIN1>.

I guess you will have to change the name of file back to what it was too.

Demo. Drums and synth bass, each through an instance of N60A and associated pre-amp. "Bypassed" is with no instances of N4 on, "On" is an N60A on each track, adjusted to suit the track (drums crushed, bass clarified). 96/24 Goodhertz dithered/SRC to 44/16 for Soundcloud.

Any tip using for using this with kick or a bass?
I normaly used attack an release with other comps but this is different. I see a lot of ratio options, ahead options, hpf..
What do you recomend? Cheers!

Really good one! The Preamp distorsion is lovely...

I've tested it in N3 and N4 sharing same engine (latest N4 core engine), and i find it unusable in N4. Maybe have to change some settings? ... when I load it in N4, the CPU is a lot higher than in N3 with same internal nebula buffer size.

Anyway, today I'll test it some more.

I have been testing this. My only knowledge of the D*x 160 is with the Waves plugin, which I know is an emulation of another model. Nonetheless, they are similar, but have some important diferences. The waves one seems more harsh than this library, and too pointy. This, in comparison, has a slightly dark color and is a bit more round.

To me, it is the usual "sounds more digital" x "sounds more like hardware".

Second, thanks jpn for the skin. I've only used N4, so there was no skin until now. I have to say, this is freaking awesome! Feels like an Acqua plugin, with the usual top notch sound quality of TimP.
