It happens with all Core 9 compressors Sand,Lime,Coral,Pearl2 and Violet

yep,it boggles my mind that no at least mac beta tester catches these things especially this particular bug,they must all have magic computers.

Another bug that still exists is in N4 if you right click on the finder tab in before it finishes the start up scan and gives you the "init" then it'll crash your Daw,at least in logic anyway.

we need to evaluate each case separately.
We know about sound boost during n4 acqua loading (which could be fixed more easily), this is different from what it happens when you load an acqua (which is difficult to fix). Sometimes the acqua generates a dropout simply because the sequencer is stuck loading it. In the past we have spent an huge amount of time fighting with them. This is a problem which arises with heavy implementations and heavily data loading.
About compressors, we need to check if there is already a tag for limiting them, or if it is a matter of uninitialized state variables at loading time

Did you have a look in the N4 folder? For me it is there and also for OS X.

In acquas compressors, usually there is an "insane mode", in acquas plugins for N4 compressors like VOILET, is the insane mode on by default?
