Any known issues with Nebula Free and OSX Maverick 10.9

Ladies & Gents, I went through all the latest free stuff lately, and wow, blown away how improved even the free series is. My old, dependable DAW will be staying at OSX 10.6 because there's no troubles at all.

A friend has a dual Xenon Mac with 10.9 Maverick and it's not installing correctly.

I'll do some research, back in a bit.

Nebula3 FREE 1.3.608 for OSX? No one report an issue in the installer! Send us a full report please.

Try to install from the same drive, as system. My Nebula server was not installs from different drive, but from system drive - all perfect.

Seems to be administrative rights issues. Ask the OS developers = Apple.

I am trying to introduce Nebula to a friend who is on a Macintosh.

He is trying to get a look at the free version for Mac so that he can consider the paid Pro version.

He is on the new Maverick OS for Mac and Free will not install for him.

Here is what he sees:


and yes, this IS on the system hard drive.

Any solutions???

.505 was nothing but trouble for me. I would try a different version (looks like there are a couple of different choices for the Free version installers).

But I'm not sure if there are issues with 10.9 and Nebula; I have Mav on my laptop (test environment) and it has had issues with a great many plugins. Backward compatibility, typical of Apple's aggressive deprecation, is not so great with 10.9.

Could be a corrupted file issue or OSX issue.

could you install the new nebula3 free 1.3.608 ?
1.3.502 and 1.3.602 are pretty old and they are there just for compatibility issues

That was exactly his problem...

I guess the confusion comes from the old version being the first item to download for Mac on the site page.

Anyway, he got Neb free working fine and was very impressed so I expect you will have a new customer soon.
