Re: Download management

see it as dutch directness... putting things on the cloud is never secure and not considered illegal to share something that has to be authorized anyway.

But like I said: Of course I do nothing if you don't agree with it! Was only trying to help out.

Re: Download management

lol illegal? To share something that's hosted on Box? And more people can access without problem? No :).

But if you don't want it I of course don't do it.

Re: Download management

If it's OK with Acustica I can host it on a normal HTTP server for you if you still want. Would want an OK from somebody from Acustica before doing something like this, maybe they don't want it or advise against it (or can do it themselves through the support system). I'll post MD5 sums of course fo...

Re: Orange Eq: the first Acqua entirely developed by Acustic

I installed it _without_ the legacy-UI thing. Windows 8.1 x64, installed the 64 bit version. The DLL that is installed was not picked up by Reaper, doing a complete VST rescan said 'it caused an invalid exception' or something, sorry, don't have the details here at home in the weekend. I opened the ...

Re: For people who think nebula does not compress

This might actually be the first serie of Acqua plugins I might pick up then :). Once again, awesome work on trying to fight Nebula weak points. Fast-reacting processors (and even multiband, does that even mean sampling de-essers then?) is one of the final pieces of the puzzle. If you combine what i...

Re: From Cubase to Reaper, fxchains, batch processing?

In the popular free SWS extensions to reaper (So common everyone expects you to install it :P) there are options to 'freeze/bounce to track honoring time selection'. Otherwise, you do a track bounce like usual, but only the time-region you selected gets bounced. Lovely if you got small sections in a...

Re: From Cubase to Reaper, fxchains, batch processing?

I normally put Nebula on my tracks, then select the tracks I want to 'batch' and right click and hit 'render/freeze tracks' -> 'render tracks to mono stem tracks (and mute original)'. (Or use the stereo option if you have stereo content on your channels of course). Reaper creates a new track and 'fr...

Hmm, if you're refering to me, I said my _interface_ uses less latency in 96K, has nothing to do with Nebula, but with my hardware :).

Re: Working in 96K instead of 44.1... pros and cons?

Somebody correct me if wrong, but Nebula is resampling the selected library/program to your source project, not the other way around. So if you have a 44.1 project, and load a 96khz Nebula library on it, that library gets resampled to 44.1 and then applied to your source audio. So if you're source i...

Re: G2500 - can't make it happen

G2500 is Gemini's Audio one right? In all honesty, that should be able to be snappy, he always makes special version for use with low-prog rate instances to get the compressors to react faster than the default ones. I'm getting his 1176 to be darn near close and as fast as some algo plugs (with a lo...

Re: Updating x tweeks

somebody correct me if wrong, but most of the time the things inside the .XML don't change with a new version of Nebula (or I believe it never has at least). So you only need to make sure the new .dll /VST file (assuming Windows for now) is copied over all the files you made. I believe Nebula Setups...

Re: Acustica Audio Library not working since update to 1.3.7

May I add, it happened to me before that my authorization needed to be updated. I had it installed, but apparently I changed something in my system (or something) so the serial number became invalid. I didn't notice this, because Nebula would load up just fine and unprotected 3rd party libraries (mo...

Re: Version 1.3.770 RC

had no idea that 770 was actually released already, but it's in my downloads without problems. On a (un)related note, if I hover over 'customer area' on the website while being on the main Acustica frontpage, I only see 'dashboard'. If I hover over it while being on the forum, I get 4 options 'dashb...

every commercial IR guy I know of uses different names, or (more often), they say "it is like ..." or "based on ...".
