Re: Scarlet MHE-400 (mastering high-end homebrew eq)

Now after some weeks using Scarlet here are two feedback-questions: Here I am to answer. 1: Scarlet seems to add 1db of Gain - so many think it sounds awesome but it only makes everything louder? I guess you're using Scarlet @48KHz... The 1dB gain you mention is an unwanted side effect of Scarlet r...

Nice photos!

But that does NOT answer my question regarding the development of the promised Ivory Compressor!!

Hi Acustica, why so quiet - are you still on leave? How does it look with the long promised Ivory Comp?

Re: Nebula4 Roadmap?

the question is also: Nice to have core 6 and soon core 7 in nebula server... but which library-developer already uses the new feature for nebula 3? Fortunately, no one. 3rd library developers are library developers they don't beta test. But therefore 3rd party developers produce libraries of excel...

Re: Ultramarine (mid/side vintage compressor)

yes it is the regular version. About mac osx releases we found finally the issue, anyway you'll be contacted by fabio. There was an issue with old files mixed with new ones, so again an issue with installers. It was causing a visible +18dB because one of the m/s programs was missng loaded as "init"...

Re: Ultramarine (mid/side vintage compressor)

GOOD NEWS, it was the wrong version on mac osx. Ultramarine runs 1.3.965, we uploaded 1.3.963 We'll fix also the skin issue on both releases (windows and mac), the wrong "live" logo. We'll upload the live version just later. The version which you are running is not zero latency. I GOT VERSION 1.3.9...

Re: Ultramarine (mid/side vintage compressor)

problems here on Mac. control link not working correctly at all. seems to work sometimes when just using the right side controls, but very wonky in general. When the controls move together the actual settings do not follow. switch both VU's to show gain reduction and one is still showing input. It'...

Re: Ultramarine (mid/side vintage compressor)

It seems like the UM's meters don't really work when going for a light reduction of 0-1 db: They always do a jiggly dance showing 1-3 db reduction no matter how low input and threshold are set. Has this been addressed for the release? thanks and regards Really? I'm not getting that behaviour at all...

Re: Ultramarine (mid/side vintage compressor)

One thing I was curious about was what the owner of the original unit sampled to create Ultramarine thinks of UM - as they must surely know their unit in great detail & are able to judge how close UM actually is in representing the sonics & function of the hardware unit. Was there some feedback yet...

@Giancarlo First of all I want to thank AA for the fantastic release of the vintage PEARL which once again proofs the saying "the older the grapes the sweeter the wine"! How about - as a next release a long waited for - Fai*child like compressor? Eg: Fai*man t*c, Analog*ube AT 1*1, Telef*nken U73b, ...

Re: New Blue mu Comp/Limiter,NOW ADDED REDUCTION METER SKIN

I think you guys will like it very much. It moves a lot. For example the attack is very even through gain reduction and is very hard to get pumping even at say -20db. I estimate release tomorrow Hi Tim has it not been released yet? Udo

Re: pEArL legendary vintage equalizer

just to assure everyone, betatesters have a "prototype" version with a damaged skin. The only plugins available will be the 99 released for sale. I think this is a crazy concept, but imho software is TOO MUCH AVAILABLE NOWDAYS. If everyone has access to the same tools there is no gain for ANYONE. I...
