Re: Henry Olonga releases many new products!!!

Hey guys, 21 new products have been added and this time the focus has been on Microphones and preamps. The star of the show is the HELIOS preamp 'Titan V2' which will be the start of a wonderful series of high quality emulation. It sounds gorgeous on vocals especially but can be used across amix. I...

Does this mean there's going to be an update to the library... or, is there an update for Nebula in the works to address compressor behavior? Very curious... :)

Re: Pirates !

Don't tell me the fable about low price, demos and great customers support is the solution. All these things already exist from the beginning and the result it's on the warez sites. I apologize if I seem a little ethically disappointed by this whole history... :| I can understand your feelings, but...

Re: Not quite piracy, but this bugs me.......

Hmmm. So all of his niceness with me was just a ruse. Possibly, but who knows. He did post on other threads that weren't software related, so maybe he wasn't trying to do anything bad... But, even if he didn't intend to post them on warez sites, someone else that he was 'sharing' with could have.

Re: Pirates !

I did see that article before, and it is indeed well written and brings up some good points. But that path of least resistance comes at many levels, and I still see it as a case that if the free product is available at all, especially with little consequence, that IS the least resistant path, even ...

Just heard back from one of the mods at GS. Apparently, we're not the only ones so they banned him.

Re: Pirates !

FWIW, I just read this article about piracy posted on Lifehacker and thought it hit the mark pretty well: http://lifehacker.com/5990525/why-i-stopped-pirating-and-started-paying-for-media Essentially, the idea is that people take the road of least resistance. If the experience of paying for your sof...

True. Hopefully, he's not one of the bad guys. I just thought it sounded fishy considering the explosion of Nebula piracy lately. But, who knows... :)

Re: Not quite piracy, but this bugs me.......

Ha! That dude sent me the -exact- same PM @ gearslutz. I didn't respond to him, but I did report him to the moderators. I haven't heard anything back - hopefully they took action. And BTW, in regards to the title of this thread: yes, it's TOTALLY piracy... In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this is...

Re: Cupwise Release- Slick 9k Compressor

i need support from 'the community' to be able to keep doing anything. that means that at least some of the people who buy something i make, need to speak up about it where people can see. if i release more comps and nobody says anything about them then i'm not going to keep doing them. simple. i'm...

Re: Pirates !

All I can say right now (that hasn't already been said) is that a portion of my tax return is DEFINITELY going towards some programs 8-) Merely out of my own weirdness, I want to buy something from each developer because you ALL deserve more money than what you make, and have made my audio endeavor...

Re: AITB EAR Room programs are totally unusable

I'm trying 10.8.2 which is installed in a external hard drive. I didn't do a clean install, just the upgrade from 10.7.5 to 10.8.2 with Nebula Pro (and server too) 1.3.502 already there. It seems ok with Cubase 7.0.2. Nebula is the only, as well as for you, thing keeping me on the old system, but a...

Re: AITB EAR Room programs are totally unusable

If I'm right this problem has been only reported by OSX users (like me). Everybody seem to agree that it works fine on PC. Which brings me to ask if there is any work being done on an update that officially supports OS 10.7 and 10.8?? It's been a long time and I'd really like to update to a current...
