Re: Any known issues with Nebula Free and OSX Maverick 10.9
.505 was nothing but trouble for me. I would try a different version (looks like there are a couple of different choices for the Free version installers). But I'm not sure if there are issues with 10.9 and Nebula; I have Mav on my laptop (test environment) and it has had issues with a great many plu...

Re: DDMF Metaplugin works with 96kHz libs!!!
Email came from DDMF today of a new version of Metaplugin: "the new version fixes the infamous sample rate bug in Nebula and lets you automate parameters from within a single plugin's UI..." I'm seeing the exact same performance in 2.4 that I saw in 2.38 or whatever I was using most recently: most o...

Re: I would like a Free upgrade to sever or my money back!
I think it's quite a reasonable question the OP raises (without getting into discounted upgrades or whatever, that's between him and A_A): why is Acustica spending time making "revolutionary" new plugins and products when they have still yet to finish the old ones? There seems to be a chronic attent...

Re: NAT broken?
Same here. I was trying to help a user encrypt a skin and I can't get NAT to run either, same symptom as described.

Re: DDMF Metaplugin works with 96kHz libs!!!
Last night my fears were confirmed: using the working methodology of having PT already opened I had a session with 6 Nebulas and each of them failed to instantiate correctly. This is probably 1 out of 50 or so tries that it failed. I wouldn't trust Metaplugin without checking every instance (althoug...

Re: Paralell effect routing?
Just as a warning, the problem with Metaplugin is better than it was but it still can't just be trusted blindly. There's a thread near the top of Active Topics where I reported my findings. But Metaplugin will indeed give you the routing capability you want (and then some). I use my host for this, i...

Re: DDMF Metaplugin works with 96kHz libs!!!
I've been testing Metaplugin 2.3.8 fairly extensively and it seems like the problem is 'almost solved'. That said, the fact that it appears less frequently arguably makes it more dangerous since you have a much greater chance of becoming complacent about this problem in thinking it's 'mostly solved'...

Re: Cooltec EQP1 Released
I do understand what you are saying. from the perspective of Nebula libraries this is expensive... But you are looking at this from the context of a Nebula library-in the context of a Nebula Pro owner. If you own Nebula - then you can go and buy the library for not much! This is a bespoke plugin us...

Re: Website login
The Acustica community is increasing fast (we are happy for this). We have planned a server/bandwidth upgrade in the Q1/Q2 2014 It's not really a problem for me, there's nothing on the forum that I need in 1 second instead of 2; just agreeing with SWAN's observation. But I'm glad to hear about the ...

Re: Cooltec EQP1 Released
Just to add yet another cost comparison: One expensive library that people sometimes bristle over the price of is R2R. Compare this to R2R: -it's the sampling of a single unit (R2R is the sampling of 7 iirc units, most of them using different tape stocks and all of them using multiple speeds) -EQs h...

Re: Cooltec EQP1 Released
As to "this is not quite a Nebula Library in the same way...", that was the question: how is this not quite like any other Nebula library exactly? because it is library that has been built into a bespoke GUI and plugin instance. One of the big issues many people have with Nebula is the workflow, an...

Cool, I didn't expect that it would be able to although that would admittedly be pretty cool. Anyway nice unique library, I'll have to pick this one up.

Can a Nebula filter self-oscillate?
