I haven't been back to the aforementioned machine since my last messages but today I went to open it and Acquarius updated itself to .12 without any intervention on my part. No errors.
When I checked on my other machine it never had this issue. So it seems to have corrected itself over here.

Re: Aquarius 2 is now available
Still not available here. Where is the resource folder for Aquarius? Why would I need to change a URL in a file I've surely never accessed before? ETA: Sorry, never specified: OS X 10.12.6 I'll have to check my work machine tomorrow but I think it's running the same OS (and probably even has the sam...

Re: Aquarius 2 is now available
I'm getting the same "Unknown Error" right now with 2.0.010 anyway. Since I just had Acquarius up and running a couple days ago at this version I'm hoping the server is just overwhelmed or down for maintenance or something. But whatever it is didn't just go away, not for me anyway.

Re: cupwise release- Lunchpail comp
Can't wait to check it out. That tip on using REAPER automation to lock the settings for SHQ instance is great, I've been wondering if there was a way to do that.

Re: Coral - mastering channel strip
Working my way through the trial now, that is a fabulous EQ. One small thing (but worth mentioning): You guys have been putting some serious effort into your manuals and I think that's a great thing, kudos. The one small change I think you need to make to Coral is: you need to add the timings for A/...

Re: SAND out now!
Acustica actually did explain it: The product that they developed and released is Sand, a channel strip which features all of the sub-modules in question. Sometime after the release they had this idea (based on feedback) that they could offer improved performance to people with low resource machines...
Re: Coral
This elitism is an ongoing theme for Acustica the last couple years which is really weird to those of us who have been around for a while because it is so totally contrary to the way things used to be. Once upon a time Giancarlo portrayed himself as more of a Robin Hood type figure whose goal was so...

Re: SAND out now!
for the installation order: yes about new tools: I cannot speak about other developers, but we are seriously pushing the tech boundaries at each new release. It is perfectly normal people find new tools "a lot better". We are not just targeting "better gear", we are improving the engine so audio pe...

Re: SAND out now!
Just so I have this straight...I have the trial rel B installed currently, working fine. I am to install: Upgrade to SandT VST & AU Trial rel C then Upgrade to SandFab4T VST & AU Installer rel C ? I am planning on buying this weekend but I figured I'd check out the auxiliary VSTs for as long as I st...

Re: AlexB - Neev Collection Released ! N14 N73 N64 N54
VBC is easily my most used Nebula library. I love it and was honestly a bit skeptical that the re-up would be terribly exciting to me (at the price, of course, it would be insane not to try it out but how much better than 'freaking perfect' can a library get, right?). Well I was wrong. It's not a hu...

Re: How do you make sure you are hitting Nebula at -18dbfs?
no it was not directed to you really! It is something not new for 3rd party, so if there is not enough info on it I cannot help! On acustica side, we NEVER applied gain staging - apart acqua plugins, here the reason for our lacking of infos Each developer applies the gain staging he prefers I just ...

Re: How do you make sure you are hitting Nebula at -18dbfs?
I don't know whether it's the language barrier or what but you're not providing anything useful to your users by speaking this way. People are not asking for a detailed analysis of various metering (of course VU metering isn't the same as RMS metering, VU metering is a loudness scale) they're asking...
