Re: A question about EQ signal path in multi-program setups.
I have thought about the very same question myself. The developers clearly describe using a serial configuration in all instructions I have seen. Here is what happens I think: Whether bands are combined serially or in paralel should not matter except for gain structure. Lets say you want to boost 6 ...

Re: AlexB: Ely XComp (German Mixing/Mastering Compressor)
Thank you RJ. Good reminder about the upgrades that
Alex B did to the hardware. I do not think that I will
resist Alex's libraries

Re: AlexB: Ely XComp (German Mixing/Mastering Compressor)
RJHolins, I have been very impressed with the Brainworx/Uad Elysia Alpa comp and the Elysia Museq eq. How would you compare the AlexB Ely xcomp and Elyx eq libraries with the Brainworx/Uad plugins? Granted, the hardware X version are more "budget"/fewer options versions of the alpha and museq models...

Re: Nebula4, new details
Can someone from acustica answer the following Question please: When nebula 4 eventually supports loading of multiple instances, will this be a paid or a free upgrade? I am asking because this is the feature that interests me the most. I think free. I cannot be sure about the future, but the main i...

Re: Nebula4
As G posted: In our first release we'll feature - The resizable rack, but you'll open a single instance at once as usually - No acqua plugins supported till February. We are working on server support for them (ok this is linked to a lot of developments you'll see, some revolutionary product extensi...

Re: Nebula4
Giancarlo this sounds very exciting. Will the december 23
release have multi instance loading of nebula 3 pro libraries?
And also zero latency?
If not, when these features will be in nebula 4?

Re: Nebula4, end of november
windows 7 user here running a perfectly stable and efficient system; last time i checked what migration to 8 would take, i would have to find and install at least a dozen drivers/upgrades that either were not availiable or would have unknown compatibility with the rest of the system. Windows 10 is e...

Re: SAND out now!
Hi! I purchased Sand yesterday and I really like it.Just have a couple of questions. In Pre4,what does the input trim knob does?Because I do not hear any volume change. And how do I find the presets, cause I don't see any! Used release O and G upgrade. same here: cannot find the presets! windows 7, 64...

Re: SAND out now!
It's MUCH easier than that! There's a routing option that puts the filters in the sidechain of the compressor. I think it's setting 10 or 11. Then all you have to do is engage the filter and set it to your desired frequency. Thank you very much!!! I misinterpreted Giancarlo's statement in this thre...

Re: SAND out now!
HELP needed with sidechaining: :o I bought Sand and first impressions are that it is special. :P I am confused with the internal vs external side chaining though. If anyone wants to clarify I will appreciate it. Let's say that I want to have the compressor compress only based on frequencies>100 Hz. ...
