Re: Updated Blu-mu v2 100a v3!!!
Hi Tim... or anyone that can answer... Little confused on the Line Pre / Line Comp usage with the Sum 100a V3 As I understand it... the line Pre, can be used to get that "roll off" sound without using compression... you can also use this to increase saturation... right? The Line-Comp has a different...

Re: Clippers!
This would of course be of great interest. For now, I'm using Tim's Dualtech and Sta programs like you are. Otherwise, my absolute favorites are Kush's Omega and Cytomic's The Scream and The Drop (the Wasp filter is especially mental). Andrew's coding really just nails nonlinear dirt and filtering ...

Re: A Nebula Channel Strip with Nyrv Agent?
Hi guys Just downloaded and playing with NYRV agent.. only had 10 minutes on it. But I wanted to try and setup a stereo chain. Using the 2 modules in parallel (assume this is the way to do it)...? I can see I can pan the output from each to left and right... but I cant see how i would pan the input ...

Re: Favorite Nebula 1176 Compressor
I say Tim P U76 as well. I have never used a 1176 (hardware) But I watched a couple of "how to use" videos on the hardware 1176 and techniques used on vocals and drums including all buttons. I was amazed how applying the same settings in the videos appeared to do the same thing (compress and distort...

Re: TNT v2 Expander, gate and limiter.. discount code £5 OF
Just picked this up... cant wait to try it out in parallel on drums (kick snare toms) and Bass
Quick question... excuse me ignorance... the PD versions I assume mean program dependent... how much and how do they differ from non program dep versions..?

Re: Linked vs Unlinked (dual mono)
depending on the source material and what I want... yes I am doing this. On the central stuff (stereo field) i dont bother. But on others yes I do that or use a plugin (because i use Cubase) to split the signal and place an instance on the left and right channel.

Re: Vari Level released!!
Seriously Amazing Comp Cant wait to test on Guitar as people are saying and the hardware unit is supposed to be great on piano too. What I have done is smash it on vocals... incredible... I literally cant believe it... Mixing a vocal (slightly compressed on tracking) I could easily nail 10Db of comp...
