Re: SansAmp sampling - more harmonics!
How about separating the distortion presets and pasting them multiple times in a row? Could this bring you closer to the original sound?

Re: SAND out now!
I am sorry if this has been asked, but I am not really going to read all those 77 pages.
When using only the EQ as "single" without anything else, do I get also its harmonic distortion or I have to use always the preamp section too?

Re: The most colorful preamps
so what is the recommended settings for nebula exactly ? :) The one that the program developer used. ;) But personally, I use 1024 buffer on everything as it seems to sound most natural. Short buffer settings sound a bit more aggressive but at the same time a bit scratchy/flat. You can easily test ...

Re: 1102 blue eq released!! 25% off until 31st of January
This thing is insanely good. I re-preamped all the tracks in my last recording using the line/pre preset and it sounds more 3D and smoother than any other Nebula preset I have ever tried before. Unbelievable.

Re: AlexB: 4KD Channel Dynamics & G.Comp
How does it behave using the hpf preset then? Better or same basic problem? Do not know exactly what you are asking about but the presets in this library include also HPF - you do not need to use another EQ to sidechain HPF in Nebula anymore. And the sound is just so much better than the old versio...

Re: AlexB: 4K Console
+1 on the PCS update.
If these preamps can sound as good as the 4K console I can see another mix improvement on the horizon.

Re: AlexB: 4K Console
MFC is relaxed/slow and creamy. 4KC is faster, punchier, more aggressive but also cleaner. I am totally excited about the sound of the new 4KC.

Re: AlexB: 4KD Channel Dynamics & G.Comp
Fantastic release. I am done with the algorithmic compressors knowing that Nebula can sound so much better.

Re: AlexB: 4K Console
Those 4K Dynamics sound so much better now. I am finally putting all the algo vst comps fully away.
I shoul upgrade the console too.

Re: Compressor library for individual channels?
I use TimP U76 on every channel. Don't believe there is anything better out there.
That opto might be great too, though, if you prefer less aggressive sound.

Tiled Room Presets?
I wonder if there are any rescent tiled room reverb presets available. There have been some old presets from 2009 around, but I guess that they may be already a bit outdated...
Thanks

Re: Preamp shootout: N**e 1073, A*I 512, UA 1108
Actually, I like very much all of them. My favorite combination is:
N**e on the drums and bass, A*I on the guitars, UA on the vocals and synths.
