how to organise my nebula presets?
how to organise my nebula presets?
Is there a tool out there that will let me put presets into a cat of my naming, so all of my decks like globe and VBC would go into a desks section?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: how to organise my nebula presets?
If you run Nebula from within a host program called Reaper then do this http://www.acustica-audio.com/forum/ind ... =viewtopic
Otherwise use Nat, it comes with Nebula:

Pick one program to start with...
Click in the Category cell change it to DESKS then click overwrite

It is pretty amazing in Reaper and now I have 'Resources' tab open at the bottom and you can filter/search for programs and then just drag and drop them - This is the easiest way.

Faun can't you break it down for me ? Do you find this "Resources" in the "view" menu and do you dock it afterwards ?I can't find it,but the way you describe it, could really go well with my work flow.Let me know...faun2500 wrote:It is pretty amazing in Reaper and now I have 'Resources' tab open at the bottom and you can filter/search for programs and then just drag and drop them - This is the easiest way.
@ Definity,I'm not sure that you can use NAT on mac ... But that's for me the best way to do it if you're not using Reaper.
A 3rd way,is to use Zabukovski Nebulasetups and create a Nebula instance per "type of device" (ie:Nebula Decks,Nebula Comp,Nebula Pres,etc...).The big advantage is that the loading time is drasticaly reduce 'cause you load just a portion of your full Nebula library.I'm talking about the plugin loading time here not the presets one.Other big +, you can organize your presets in the order you want.BUT again I don't know if you can use this program on Mac.
A 4th way might be Nebulaman from the man Zabukovski again.I have absolutely no experience with it.Check for yourself and see if it can help for what you want to do.
Re: how to organise my nebula presets?
Resources is part of SWS extension. If you don't have this installed (added on to reaper) then you really need to get it.

Re: how to organise my nebula presets?
I can't imagine using Reaper without the SWS extensions. Also, do check out the Reaper forum; it is full of super helpful and experienced people (like this forum). In fact, the "vibe" is also very similar to this one, a nice change from other not-so-friendly forums.

Re: how to organise my nebula presets?
Thanks peoples.Actually,I use SWS extension since the day I switch to Reaper around a year ago.I thought I have the last version installed but visibly not (or I didn't get this "resource" thing before...or I just had very short night or a little bit of everything
)
Anyway thanks Faun for the tip.And yeah Richie I go on the Reaper forum (less than when I started with it).I'm agree with you about Reaper. The whole mentality, business ethics etc... is really something I'm with 200%.And Justin and co.proved than they were right and they win... Everybody in the music soft business is complaining not them
.Nebula is in the same category.May AA stick to their "manifest".
Thanks again,I'm out...
