Amazing sound, impossible put this thing in the mixbuss and don't want to buy it. Definitively compressor C is better than D, sounds more natural and musical.
The only thing that I don't like is that console B hasn't a true mixbuss like console A (mix a ST)

Gian Carlo said Vatican one..

The V stands for Vatican, a play-on-words about the designer, Davide Pope. It was designed to be a broadcast console-- the evolution of the 51 series.

Then for me is the V1

A is a VR.
B is a 88rs.
C & D is a 8051 (5.1 Surround Compressor)
E is a FJ-V-Series Channel Strip

Had time experimenting and found Pre B, EQ B and Comp C works wonderfully. Lot's of bottom end and good clarity. Coupled it with SAND and MFC or 4KC..WOW!!!

G, is there a way to set the EQ or pre to switch to console B automatically? Same way comp C is selected as default when opened?

Also, what does MFC/4KC bring to the table? Have you tried a second Lime/Sand Pre switched to Mix St? Just wondering myself if AlexB's stuff still warrant some consideration...

Manual ... where?

Post by bryan7nebula » Sat Nov 26, 2016 7:04 pm

Does anyone know where the manual link is?
The one on the product page links to Coral manual.
Can someone make a link if they actually have the manual.

Thanks.

I too am interested in the combination of the AlexB consoles with Sand/Lime. What do they give the sound in combination which isn't achieved by Sand/Lime alone?

Cheers

I have no idea how you guys keep upping the bar, But this release is UNDENIABLE. The future keeps getting better n better. I almost didnt pick this one up since i literally have almost everything else released recently but im happy i did. Lime has a completely different character than Sand. 2017 is going to be a beautiful year for those who are heavily invested in Aquas, Cause when all the older Eq's and compressors begin to be updated to the newest cores its going to be Heavenly. Im especially excited for Magenta and Green.

Well done guys.
