Bought Sand

i love to mix with these eq`s
really really great sounding :)
sounds nothing like algo S*L eq`s to me, its way way better

but am i the only one who feels the eq`s and filters are a little jumpy when the knobs on Sand is turned ?
i would expect them to be a little more fluid

i cant comment to much about the Comp yet as my project was over half done when i used Sand and all my buses filled with Pink comp bundle single band

the eq`s and filters is worth it alone to me
cant wait to abuse the G comp haha

so im pulling up a new song now to test Sand all over it LOL

Cheers

the manual says that these just control input and output level. without compensate. so i guess the word trim is irritating from the other plugins with input trim. for me would like to see get these compensated as know and loved from the other aquas

In such case please open a ticket, they still try to replicate the issue
Yes, properly authorised G. I'll raise a ticket. Thank you. Absolutely amazing by the way.

It seems like input trim is just an input.
I didn't remember the choice, was about minimizing gain issues and sudden boost (cause there complex routing)
I agree the name could be simply "input". But there was an output "trim", so they preferred that way for symmetry

Mixing with SAND right now on channels and the bus. I mix lots of different genres and I enjoy Aquamarine on more moody and sensitive material.

SAND is incredibly good sounding! Once you dial in a sound with the EQ it is magical and fits perfectly. The pres are amazing and very unique. Love the buss comps (prefer A) - what is difference between A and C? C seems slower and less "smacky".

Only problem now is transferring settings from trial to bought version :) will this possibly be compatible with the release settings-wise?

Oh-my, what a beautiful musical and cohesive sound it produces! Internal routings are very clever. Also first time ever, I had a working Ext. SC ‘out of the box’ with an Acqua!

Unfortunately when change of routings on the fly, it randomly freezes my DAWs on Mac… Same goes for Reaper, S1 and Ableton.

Can’t tell when and why it does, just happens when adjusting the stepped knob to change routing.
Hopefully cpu optimisation will take care of it!

same here

other topic: would be nice if the input trim gets a real one, not just input level. g said will correct echo bug and fix bus pre, its perfect timing.

Same goes here with PT 12.4 on Mac 10.10.5. I think it happens when you switch before letting one routing fully load, or perhaps skip over several.

Amazing achievement. Sounds 3d and like a record. The Eq section is awesome and compressor is the bomb for mix bus glue. None of the Algo compressors I've tried come close. :D
Well done to all the Acustica team.

One small issue as explained by others , the routing switch does crash Logic pro x. So I recommend to press stop on the DAW while selecting a configuration. Don't change it while playing your session it will randomly crash.
