Has someone reported volume drop in preamp 5 on pre module?
I don't know if someone has answered this but I'm having the same issue. It's around 6db lower than the other ones. Pro Tools 12 here...
Yep same here in the stand alone pre-amp module. Pre-amp 5 is significantly quieter than the rest. This makes doing A B comparisons with other pre amps impossible, without far too much mucking around.
Logic 10.4.1
macOS 10.12.6

Liking pre-amp 7 on the stereo buss.

I got this 6 db drop on pre amp 5 in Logic also, but not always (I think)

Haven't noticed this in Reaper, though, with the same AU... strange

I've just looked at Output Levels of PinkPRE-2 ... VST-2, 64-bit, 44.1

PreAmp 1 has quite a rolled off bottom - down -2.5dB rising to 0dB @ 5k, peaking at +0.4dB @ 10k

All other Pres 2-8 are very close to 0.0dB.

Be sure to post what plugin Format and SampleRate using .... AND that you have the latest version posted by Aquarius.

[its possible that other formats are using a different sample library than the VST-2 ... i don't know].

As stated, I'm using Logic so it is AU format.
The project I've been working on is 48Khz.
I will try it in a 44.1 project ASAP and report findings.

EDIT UPDATE: the level of pre-amp 5 seems the same as the others in 44.1 projects.
Looks like it is a problem just in 48 k projects.

I am absolutely loving Pink2, my only beef is not being able to round the compressors before the eq. I really thought they would fix that limitation this time round.

OK ... I'm only testing VSTs ... however
I have checked all 8 PreAMPS at 48kHz sample rate, and confirm several issues.

I've just reported this to our Beta-test forum, for confirmation. I've no idea of timeframe, but I've started the ball rolling.

Problem here: after using only 10 instances of Pink EQ's, working fine all evening I just now inserted another instance & I got ' Please Authorize This Product.' The project froze & crashed.
Are you using Cubase? If yes, then use jbridge to bridge your 64 bit AA plugins into a 64 bit shell.
You sohuld solve your issue.

Thanks but I posted this over a month ago & the problem was due to Pink itself, not any of my daws.

Haven't had the problem since they updated Pink. Anyway one shouldn't need to use J-bridge for 64b plugins, that would be a very convoluted band-aid fix.

Thanks for posting though, I'll keep it in mind if it happens again on this or new releases.

Not sure of whom you're asking ... or what is/isn't fixed.

All I've been able to test are the PreAmp issues. I posted my findings in the Beta-Test forum yesterday.
Waiting for response.

Hello, I have strange Pink2 channel strip behaviour at top frequencies when compressor is enabled. I've created ticket named "#1614 Pink 2 strip strange compressor artefacts" and applied screenshots and mp3 files.

After 3 days I got a replay "Help us help you (read before submit a support ticket) an provide us more precise information including screen capture from problematic plug-ins."

But I've already provided all information. I can duplicate it here. Now ticket was closed. Please tell me what is this?

Provide a screen shot with your Pink settings so we can try to replicate.

These HF-articacts orrus when gain reduction is applied with any settings of compressor (HP sidechain, Pink2 mode on, knee types). With no gain reduction or with insane mode ON - there's no artifacts

OK ... I'll look to test your settings later today ... However ... INSANE mode usually needs to be ON as far as I know.
