This is my main critique to AA, information is hard to find, and many genuine questions go unanswered, because there's not a community manager nor support people answering users questions. There's a ticket system, but using it for trivial questions is a bit over the top to me. Now that it seems that AA are taking off, I think it's time they'd start taking customer experience more into account. G and the beta team do a great job on the forums, but it's not their job to do it, and many customers feel unattended. It'd be wise to put more focus on client satisfaction me thinks.

Agreed. I've asked several times but I'm still waiting to hear official confirmation of the end of Gold pre-sale - since it's not written down in anywhere publicity...

They will announce.... Simply wait for our announcements!!!!!!!
All updates, fixes are announced and explained.
Normally we have several silent releases, they are addressed to new users only and they "are" the current release.
But if you come from a different version just wait it is announced before updating it.

But making clients wait for announcements is not the best customer strategy for a company that wants to be big and conquer the world. I have asked myself 3 different times how to modify on the XML the behaviour of the knobs in Sand. The answer I got: crickets...and I'd really have appreciated to know that. Other users want to know how to tweak the XML for better performance, how to update old plugins to the new engines, how to authorize, how to navigate the site, sales, promotions, etc... Why not provide them with that service? Most of us are here for the sound, and we don't care about the rest mostly, but I'm sure you'd net more sales and client satisfaction with a better support presence on the forums.

And now I'll stop trying to tell you how to run your business, please take this a constructive criticism.

Little question, the comp is a bus comp or a channel comp?

I think that all acustica comps are only bus comp.

First of all, I'll say it again - this upgrade is the bomb. Loving the EQ, the comp, the metering... All excellent work G and AA.

I'm not getting clicks, but this is definitely strangely high CPU usage. With a bunch of CPU overhead, my PT sessions are crashing playback everytime I move the EQ frequency, particularly on the B mode EQ on both LF and HF bands. I'm not sure what to make of this but I keep using it and just hitting play after every move. Sounds great but that's a killer and wasn't happening in Amethyst 2...

Hope that helps,
MG
