Yes ins is the insane. The acustica logo is a pink filter.
This explains why Willy confused with a2 mode. Really it is the a3 comp with a pink filter on the sidechain.

Totally useless for me on channels because of CPU consumption.
I keep using Sand,Lime,Pearl,Gold,Diamond
Yep, I was expecting a lesser CPU power consumption : :?
Maybe having a continous control could be not the best solution nowadays, with a technology already heavy on the CPU, speaking from the usability side.

I love this sound and again, congratulations for this great update.
I miss the X5 bottom which is in the original 9098 mid bands.
This are some issues:
I opened the channel strip and volume goes down around 5 dBs, bypass plugin and volume returns.
Next thing is I was trying to make A/B with other channel strips as sand, lime, and gold but amethyst 3 stops my daw because process overload and the other ones works fine. It happened with modules in cascade too (pre, eq, comp).
I know this is an update but hopefully AA can do something about this issues because sound results thru amethyst 3 are amazing! specially with the compression section.
I offer to help AA in the future release and sampling the 9098i which is the main console that I use in the studio. If that could help them and all AA customers it would be great for me without a charge in my contribution. :D

I just downloaded and played with it just a little bit. Yes it sounds really good and also the comp and pre gets benefit of been resampled, but the eq section do not performs much better than the old Core8 release and not in pair with Gold, so I think it should be resampled from start to get all the benefits. Same applies to the fullstrip, as the eq is part of it.

Well, damn. Not much else to say but "it's great" overall. I especially like the switchable EQs and shiny/glowy curves.

I would strongly recommend input trim for the compressor-only module. Gold has the same issue: you set the threshold as low as it goes and are still compressing a paltry 0.5dB on material that already has a healthy level going in. I shouldn't have to add another plugin just for more gain on what's already loud.

It's such an issue that I use the strip more than the compressor module alone, which is a shame.

The 9098E includes the colour of the eq, we suggest to use this preamp in order to recreate the sound of the original device.

this was written in amethyst3 manual for the new eq
so it has to be a 9098

according to Will T W`s overview video its a 9098r
