Why are my posts regarding Amethyst 3 always being deleted?

Post by darren » Thu Sep 28, 2017 3:56 pm

Guys,

I am having a legitimate issue with low volume of Amethyst 3 here. I have opened a support ticket which got closed without resolution.

Each time I post here with my findings, the post is subsequently deleted without any response or reason given.

It is, IIRC, the 3rd time my post has been removed.

Amethyst 3 output level is lower than Amethyst 2. This is the issue I am having.

Please respond, rather than just deleting my posts.

Thank you.
Darren

I can't speak to missing post ...

What we can, is that AM-3 has a 6dB lower output.

I don't recall the specifics during beta-testing, but I think the addition of the MIX/DRY ratio in AM-3 might have played a small role for additional headroom. There very well might have been other more significant requirements.

Nonetheless ... AM-2 and AM-3 are two separate products, that also have different features.

In the image I uploaded you can see way more than 6db difference.

Trying to understand what the exact issue is.

When I test AM-3 [SR-44.1k], I imputed a test signal [pink noise] @ 0dB. Measuring the Output of AM-3 is 0dB.
I went through a series of EQ/Comp combinations, and the general output result was Unity.

Do you get different result ?
