Thanks, enriquesilveti. Just finished downloading the tracks.

Since they already have a finished mix of the track, is a remix more what they are after with this contest? Or should we try to mix it in a similar way and try to make more subtle mixing improvements on it? Just trying to get an idea of what the band (and who ever is judging the contest) is looking for.

Thanks,

You can mix again or remix, a remix will put an smile into Fughu's guys, for sure!

Alright. So is this basically a free for all, where anything goes and we can remove tracks and record our own tracks if we want? Or do we have to work with only what is there already?

If it is a free for all, where is the limit? I mean, we could re-record the entire song, but then it's not really their band anymore. So what limitations are there as far as what we can add/remove/etc?

Yes you can...

If you record again entire song, will be a cover mix/remix contest not a Fughu mix/remix contest. You can add or remove some tracks or sections of the song, rearrange the song (chorus, verses and bridges), re-trigger the drums hits but you should maintain the essence of the song.

The idea behind this contest is push customer and free users to uses Nebula into a complete multi track project, like a real day work situation.

There is a full mix inside the multitrack files, is the CD mix including mastering.
