I use Reaper with Nebula and Aqua's. I have been working at 48k for the last few years and decided to try 96. Only problem was my block count at 8192 and aforementioned sample rate and 20+ Nebula's and some Aqua's had my system right on the edge of stuttering. So, I changed the block count to 16384, the sample rate to 88.2k and it worked just fine with no problem. If I choose 48k now, I have room for several more nebula's or Aqua's. So, you can bump the block size in Reaper to 16384 for less CPU consumption. Cool, yeah!
