What does the Venus Symbol setting on the SC Filter do or mean?

While in your Dashboard ... be sure to open DOCUMENTATION and grab the manual.

Unfortunately, my request for SC-PINK [symbol] details have not been entered into the manual. Some info we have on it:
About pink curve levels (it is a curve which "steals" gain starting from the upper region, so the reached gain is always lower). The pink symbol comes from pink strip channel, it is the same filter.

Thanks, I read the manual but like you say there's no info about.
Also it might help if it were brighter. I barely noticed it on the gui. It's dark, looks like a ordinary circle.

Side-chain default factory value. You can filter off or you can filter from 20 Hz to 200 Hz.

Could you explain more how this functions please? If PINK (Venus symbol) is an hp at the detector input what determines when it starts to compresses? A certain freq. or level?

How does the 'stealing gain' curve work?

it is a pink curve. It is a 3dB/oct curve. Gain is 0dB at niquist, and starts decreasing from there (subtracting 3dB for each octave). It is slighly different from the pink filter created in 2412, because you have there an hardware filter recreted (and a pink med coming from a modified version of the pink filter). It is the same filter used in pink strip channel, hence the gui symbol.

Clarify please.

Does the slope [3dB/OCT] start at nyquist [@44.1= 22.05kHz]? or from 200 Hz ?

How long will the sale be? I'd love to pick this up for this price, but can't quite justify it yet
