I got the email with serial number skin, but I can see it is just for the trip version. Is this right or maybe I am missing the comp and EQ numbered skins?

Anyone else getting serious volume spikes with Pearl (strip)?

I compressed the **** out of a drum bus (needing pretty much max make up gain), and when certain sections hit I would get a HUGE spike. Potentially speaker damaging.

Thankfully I use a simple plugin at the end of the chain that cuts audio over a certain dB (invaluable) and my gear + ears remained safe.

Mac OSX, does it on both VST and AU. EQ, pre and comp were all engaged.

i figured out that it is in most cases the daw or another plugin which crashes aquas. Reaper is recommend as DAW for aquas but i use Studio One.

In Studio One i get sometimes loud clicks when CPU is high and after it the meters behave the full time red, even when audio is played :D So Studio One is buggy in the use of multiple CPU cores and can not handle aquas in the right way as it reaper can. And the more complex s1 gets the more bugs we get...

Acustica already tried to get in contact with Presonus S1 to ask them for a fix in studio one - but they just say it's their problem and all other "algo plugins" are running :D

I just repeat what i've learned so far.
Studio One on Intel i7 4790k.
Aquas i like are: Lime, Gold, Pink2412, Amethyst2, Honey

Not good!

It was Pearl2 (full strip) into Sand (compressor only).

Hey guys, possible bug in Pearl2Strip here:

Deactivating the pre-amp seems to reset the input gain to 0. This is a bit of a problem when your setup gets lost simply by doing an A/B comparison of preamp in/out.

Thanks for checking.

Was it a noise burst or was it a transient that was too quick for the compressor? If you set the Shmod/Modulazione to 0, do you still get that happening? I think 0 is a lookahead setting.

I'll try with SHMOD 0.

What's up, G? Will you be releasing video on Pearl2 compared to hardware? I've been looking out for it lately!

Can I reserve my unit if there will be a new batch?
I did not have the chance to get pEArL sadly...
That would be amazing!
