yes we avoided the "tone" in the single compressor instance so it is less cpu intensive and latency was reduced. If you need it you can use the multiband compressor or the dynaeq version, which is the "complete" strip channel. On dyneq just let the equalizer turned off, you have the full compressor working with all controls (for example also shmod). The only thing missing is the expander.

Preset additional files for Ivory3 are IVORY3DYNEQSTEREOPRESET.N2S, IVORY3COMP3BPRESET.N2S, and IVORY3DYNEQPRESET.N2S.

Use IVORY3COMP3BPRESET.N2S file for Ivory3 Compressor 3 band (MAC-3).
Use IVORY3DYNEQPRESET.N2S file for Ivory3 Dynamic EQ (IAE-4).
Use IVORY3DYNEQSTEREOPRESET.N2S file for Ivory3 Dynamic EQ Stereo (IAE-5).

Preset file should be moved manually to correct folder(s).
. Acustica folder for VST 32 bits *.
. Acustica64 folder for VST 64 bits *.
. Shared AU components folder for Audio Units 32 and 64 bits.
. AAX plug-ins folder for AAX 32 and 64 bits.

* Windows path are not fixed and user can change it during installation.

At this moment, there is no preset files for Ivory trial.

Enrique Silveti.

I am so blown away with Ivory 3 suite. Thank you so much G and all for the amazing tools you have gifted the Ivory 2 users. This suite is above and beyond all so far for me. I instantly fell in love with the sound staging and M/S ease of use. These are my new go to plugs for mixing and mastering. Love the feel and sound of it all. Already I've corrected harmonic issues and improved the sound staging tremendously. I find it can be surgical to a degree as well as musical. I love the interaction of the MS and shifting crossovers has a great effect at getting to the sound you are wanting too. Great job !!! many thanks :D

“clipper”是为了调整output达到饱和而不超过limit (0 dB)起到警示作用吗?它是纯数字控制,而没有模拟采样对吗?

Would it be possible on this release to get faster attack time on the Ivory multi-band comp, especially for the high band?

There are so many recordings with harsh sound, and cutting this aggressive high ends is of great use (or pushing a high shelve into the multi-band comp to get brighter without harshness). For that, faster attack times (as in the hardware on which Ivory is inspired) would be helpful.

And I have already others AA multi-band comps alternatives that can do faster, nevertheless I have found that beside Titanium2 can be more organic and Pink 7236 can be more punchy, none of them can sound as "natural" and "OPEN" as Ivory MAC-3 (which is a real achievement for AcusticaAudio).

Ivory MAC-3 is simple to use (which is good), and does not have shmod to overcome the limited attack times for example.

I know it has already been asked on the gearslutz thread, and you said not on this release, but I feel it is Ok to politely ask one more time (before letting it go and before the pre-sale period is over).
AA has such a big inventory of plugins (and, oh well, I have purchased so/too many), and this inventory cannot grow indefinitely (nevertheless the channels on which you sell your plugins can). And I feel it is important to tidy up the plugins inventory according to the users' needs and requests.

Thank you for pioneering so many advancements for digital audio, and to pull the industry forward.

And one last question:
The "B" crossovers filters in Pink 7236 are also derived from the Ivory hardware, are they fully compatible and identical with the Ivory MAC-3 crossovers? I would like to mix the use of those two multi-band compressors per band (processing in parallel and taking the best of both).

Thanks!

PS: I'm going to have to get this Ivory before my coupon expires  and I haven't even tried the Ivory Eq/DynEq  Life is hard, Lol :P

Edit: Trying tonight the single band comp, it just works and is so open. The clipper on the 3 bands comp is really delivering, it had something very nice. The Dynamic EQ is monstruously good, and I can see some good use to get the sound moving, not static. The Eq are a little like Scarlett, they are not obstructive. Scarlett has only +/- 6 dB and it is not always enough to see exactly what's going on at a particular frequency. Ivory does +/- 8dB and the Q does A LOT, so it is good enough for me. Very nice package indeed!

yes maybe in a different release we'll do it, but you should wait for next development cycle! possibly we'll add missing attack timings (we sampled them anyway).

About crossovers: if I'm not wrong we used "C" ones, because still being exactly the same have way less noise and artifacts.
Imho B and C are perfectly compatible, but B has "problems" which hardware doesn't have cause we sampled the gear as a blackbox, without opening it.
