Where is the Ivory trial?

Post by ctechdx » Sun Oct 04, 2015 7:42 am

Some time ago I see ivory trial available, but now it´s not there anymore. I really would like to try this eq. Why the trial is not available anymore?

I think it's due to the temporary movement to Core7. Ivory is not the only trial missed.

Anyway, I suppose support could confirm that.
Keep it simple, be happy.

nothing special. Core7 is mainly for compressors. For EQs there is no special benefit

i think all core7 eq`s will be able to do zero latency tracking, at least the eq`s that was core6

core7, when correctly confgured, minimizes dropouts, improves performances and it is even ligher. And you have zero latency, or half of latency of before if zero latency is not enabled

And I ask, do these core 7 improvements only benefit 4/5th gen I7 users? On my 2700k will I barely see any improvement (I read this somewhere but don't know if it was a rumour or true). I don't mind btw, I just need the facts and maybe plan my upgrade sooner...

Official explanation of CORE7 feature is already in Navy user manual.

Navy is the first plug-in to exploit the new native Core7 engine, a revolutionary multithreading technology by Acustica. It is based on a fractal approach to partitioned convolution and allows an optimized performance of Aqua plug-ins (and to maximize use of your system resources ) to exploit zero latency.
Best regards,
Enrique Silveti.
