There this benchmark, the mac osx is not slower than Windows
This is a false myth, just debunked

you should compare tests of the first one, "pink strip" which is the reference (here arbitrary value 1000) on both reaper and pt, both windows and mac osx, executed on the same macbook computer.
Only pt mac osx is slower, and we have good reasons for that (mostly linked to avid drivers). Results are
- windows and mac osx are perfectly matched
- the have same exact performances

In this sheet you can see also a sort of forecast about a safe number of instances you can open both on a laptop and a desktop at 48Khz. You can make a sort of proportion for other frequency rates, ie on 96Khz you open half of them.

They are NOT the best cpu available, generation 4 for laptop and generation 5 for desktop. Reason is simple: generation 4 is old but actually used on mac book pro, while generation 5 is very common for cheap desktop computers. We suggest generation 6 for both of them IF POSSIBLE, especially on desktop side

Black eq is a product we'll release, the name is fake.

I think if you released just the preamp section as a product, maybe including several other choices using the knob gui you'd have a real hit on your hands.

Love the sound of it, love the GUI. Unmatchable on the master bus. It takes a little time getting used to it, but definitely worth it!

Agreed - Aquamarine3 is the best buss comp yet and the discrete section is shockingly good and can do the absolute smashing compression thing like a dream.

How long will the "presale" last?

Flood ratio on a drum sub with quick attack is wild. Add a bit of ShMod (bring it just over 2) and it does something really cool - like a very round and weighty transient designer adding attack, with some very aggressive pumping. Big.

Purchased - this comp is one of my favorite sounding yet. Can't wait to hear Ultramarine...
