My turn to contribute a demo for this wonderful mastering EQ...
This is an older mix, and I thought it was perfect to showcase this eq because the mix is actually a little on the dull/dark side (I did this mix right before a major upgrade in my mixing environment...). This is an old-school style ska/reggae version of "Amazing Grace" (Instrumental). The dry is just the dry unmastered mix with a touch of compression. The EQ-ed version was level matched after applying the eq so the compression is the same. You may need to turn up your volume a little, I did boost the level a little but I did not "master" them to "industry standard" almost 0db.....

Wow ! Really accurate and warm...impressive demo, with a good Tape Warmer at the end (hope you'll make one in the near futur, it would be really great) and voilà !

Keep in mind that this was a quick example and I didn't do any actual mastering. Just a quick and obvious demo of the EQ with some less than ideal material.
I added the image as an attachment instead of just imbedding it, it's a large image....

Is this released to the public now? Or only to presale people first? I am wondering if it is a fine time to go get people worked up over at GearSlutz or not....lol

Amazing EQ!It sits right inbetween Magenta and Amber. All three are Very different on sources.

Really? I would expect it to be the cleanest of the bunch.

From TM's demo/shootout I get the impression that it does not sit between the other two, rather it is cleaner and treats transients more to my liking (which is to say it comes across a bit punchier and more defined). That is based on one listening test, mind you, but that was my impression. I think green is 'subjectively better' than magenta and amber, but it all comes down to what one likes. I don't own any of them, I just like the sound of green from what I have heard, so that would be what I would pick up if I was in the market for a mastering or bus EQ.
