Titanium 2 speculations

Post by giancarlo » Thu Aug 04, 2016 10:18 pm

We posted a picture in "new product alert" section
- yes it will implement shmod
- yes it will be backward compatible with old titanium, we implemented a tit1 button-per-band
- xover filters will be "improved"
- yes, it will implement input trim
- it will be lighter on cpu

bad news, we'll release ONLY
- 3 bands
- single band.

Don't ask the 2 band version (soft, loud, via pm, email or whatever), this one will NOT be updated. You'll have it available as version "1" in your dashboard. This is all we can do for a "free" upgrade, I hope it is reasonable.

please implement Bypass for each band. find it very usable on 7236!
for what reason backward compatiblity? If i want to use titanium 1 i will use titanium 1.really like the Tone of it, but Trust in you titanium 2 will not be a Downgrade. Delete this Button and go for band-Bypass :)

Because many people are waiting for a proper upgrade with full backward compatibility with titanium shapes. They are sometimes looking for a better engine or aax. It is also cool the merging of old techniques with new ones in a single product
Titanium 1 is based on chained envelope files (sigma shape), titanium 2 on smoothed single envelope followers (accurately matched analog curve)

TTs units (hw) are shining in the lows. It gives a round bottom end and overall plenty musical air through the tubes. It is magic when you just throw the hw onto the mix.
Studio One on Intel i7 4790k.
Aquas i like are: Lime, Gold, Pink2412, Amethyst2, Honey

I really love Titanium :) . I almost never used 2B but, why is the reason it can't be updated? Just curiosity

too much work for a unit is "never used". We'll keep version 1 in your dashboard.
