I like it because it is completely different!

I don't think I have enough experience with those EQs yet to tell what exactly the difference is. But I think it's spot on that they kind of complement each other.

I just know after trying them on some acoustic stuff, that these tools are really good, and I'm going to devote some time to really learning to know them in and out.

I reckon some of the pro engineers here who are familiar with the hardware EQ they're based on can tell more about how they complement each other.

It would be interesting to hear some thoughts from mastering engineers on this forum too!

I would love a demo of amber to try it out compared to magenta.

My new favourite EQ at the moment. Great work!

There's one bug though, which prevents me from using it properly. Magenta had the same thing, but the Rev C update fixed it - The self-osciallating bug or whatever it was is back with Amber. Can't mix electronic kick sounds with it for example. Any estimates on when this can be fixed?

Thanks again!

it should not have it, since s/n is a lot higher
In any case open a ticket with on example, so we can work on it

Dry file already sounded great!! Good sustain on piano, extended low end. No etching on the ear, just smooth. That means your can turn up loud with little fatigue.
Nice interesting music! well done

When you talk about the "preamp" in this plug in. Can it be used by itself? And is it similar to using an av*l^n m5 preamp?

if you want to preamp just use the Amber instead and dont engage the EQ in. will get you there :)
