Hi there support. I did provide very detailed information, to the best of my knowledge, both in my ticket and here, of what happened and how crashes have been happening.

Ok for your reference guys. If you have encountered similar problems with the updated N4/N4ZL that i have ^^^ and wish to return to the legacy version before the big update on March 28th 2018, the legacy installer you want to use is "Setup N4 OSX 1.1.003.0 rel L". rel M gets rid of N4ZL and rel N is the updated N4 just before the public update, but has bugs.

And at the same time your N4 will be incompatible with Aquarius and ALL Acqua/Nebula libraries for N4.

Yes, this is true. But like i said "If you have encountered similar problems" and you wish to return Nebula to the version to before the update, this information of which release version to use will prevent anybody else wasting time and becoming confused as to what is going on.

I recently carried out a fresh install of the OS my computer, i used the "rel L" version of Nebula to ensure my old sessions load up and then updated Nebula via Aquarius, so i have the most updated version of Nebula and can load the new and stock libraries no problem, but i also have the old N4ZL working fine.

I am trying to be helpful to others by sharing this info so that it may help them understand any problems they may face.

Old version is not compatible with new libraries (and they are many, just wait for them)

Sure, I understand that and that is indeed exciting! But this info is to help open old sessions with N4ZL instances.

a candidate solution for n4 and n4 player loading acqua libraries is in production in aquarius. If you experience issues just revert to previous version in aquarius. You should be able to load your previous sessions now. Please consider this version a public beta. Normally we wait for a bit of betatesting but this time there is no time for that.

Hi!

I'm having strange problems with Nebula N4 (updated 20-9-18 version).

I have the DSPbuffer internally set to 1024 and the buffer size to 1024 samples on Studio One 3 (Macbook Pro I7 2,2ghz mid-2015 OSX 10.12.6). When I add several instances of nebula and I increase the buffer size of my interface to 2048, instead of giving me some more room the CPU increases the performance, and when I set the buffer to something lower like 512 the CPU usage decreases (unlike the logic).

What frustrates me the most is that if the usage of the CPU is around 45% and I bypass all N4 instances (only using nebula) when I turn them on the CPU usage surprisingly hits it's maximum where it rests giving peaks and not leaving the possibility to play the project like I was a few seconds ago.

Anyone knows how I can solve this strange behavior? (I've already tried different settings on the config page)
Because this issues I'm having are killing my workflow seriously

Thanks for your time

First, try using identical 'Buffer Sizes'.
i7-5820k, MSI X99A Plus, 16 GIG Ram, Noctua NH-D14, Win-7 Pro [64-bit], Reaper-64

NVC [Nebula Virtual Controllers]

in studio one 4 there is a sort of bug we don't understand (presumibly on studio one side), but with a simple solution.
Select all tracks of the mixer, turn plugins off and on again. It requires 1 second for doing it and it minimizes dropouts. We don't have a clue about that, it happens only in studio one 4

Can N4 be demoed? I don't mean N4P as Alexbs nebula programs don't work with N4P.
