Creating Nebula setups with Nebula Setups
Tip applicable to:
Product(s): Nebula3, Nebula3 Pro, Nebula3 Server, Nebula3 FREE.
OS(s): Windows, OSX.
Plug-in format(s): VST, AU.
Plug-in architecture(s): 32 bits, 64 bits.

1. Introduction
Nebula Setups is a standalone program for OSX and Windows developed by Zabukowski Software ( which allows you to create custom copies/versions of the original Acustica Audio Nebula plug-in in VST and AU format. Each copy, called setup, can have his own program list, skin and also can load a Nebula custom emulation preset instead of initialization one.

2. Setup Nebula Setups
On first load Nebula Setups will show you an Acqua initialization error but is not really an error, this means that access to the Nebula/Acqua is not yet available. Program needs it in order to show contents of Nebula emulation presets.

3. Creating a Setup
3.1. Select desired emulation presets with the repository browser.
3.2. Add them to a setup editor.
3.3. Select skin (optional).
3.4. Select default/auto-load emulation preset (optional).
3.5. Tweak the Nebula setup parameters (optional).
3.6 Save the setup.

4. Nebula Setups Manager
One of the major advantages of the Nebula Setups 2 is a setup tracking. The program remembers which setups were created with it. Because of this, re-creating a complete setup or updating a setup with the new Nebula version for example, is now very simple task.

5. Using backup system for backup your Nebula Setups
Options related to Nebula Setups updating are basically the same as the ones available when saving a setup with save option but there is one additional option, which is unique to Nebula Setups Manager and it can not be found when saving setups regularly. It is called "Backup file(s) before updating". If is checked, each file will be replaced first copied/backed up to the special folder. In case something goes wrong, plug-in files can be manually restored to their original locations.
