Solving AU validation problems in OSX
Tip applicable to:
Product(s): Acqua Effects.
OS(s): OSX.
Plug-in format(s): AU.
Plug-in architecture(s): 32 bits, 64 bits.


Audio Unit validation could be tricky some times. Audio Unit validation tools can crash on plug-ins scan but some times Audio Unit validation not crash but plug-in are not added into the audio host plug-ins menu.

If Audio Unit validation crash follow this steps:
1. Setup your audio interface and audio host in maximum buffer value.
2. Repair Disk Permissions using the Disk Utility tool.
3. Run your audio host.

If plug-in are not added into the audio host plug-ins menu follow this steps.
1. Setup your audio interface and audio host in maximum buffer value.
2. Delete your audio host Logic AU plug-ins cache to force it to rescan the Components folder for new plug­-ins.
3. Repair Disk Permissions using the Disk Utility tool.
4. Run your audio host.
