Azure GUI Help

Post by M » Tue May 15, 2018 9:15 pm

Trialling Azure at the moment. In the manual it states:
........and each channel has both an EQ on/off and a channel on/off switch.
This last pair of switches probably get most use when the final feature the in-built M/S matrix
is activated, as they let you audition the M/S signals, and EQ changes to them, separately.

It's not obvious on the GUI what these last pair of switches are, as there is no interface explanation in the manual.
Can someone clarify. Thanks

Hey there, sorry for missing this post. I just saw you second message. There are the following buttons:

• C L = control link for L & R channel
• MS = changes the EQ from L/R to Mid-Side mode
• the buttons on each side of the text 'Azure' enable both the HPF & the LPF

Then each EQ band can be switched on/off with the corresponding switches (not buttons) situated above each band

Let us know if you need any further clarification. Cheers

I don’t see how it allows you to audition M and S separately.

Hi, there is no way to audition the M or S separately from within the plug-in. The operation mode only changes the internal routing, but the output of Azure is always LR stereo.

The manual should probably be corrected to match the plugin, as it states " they let you audition the M/S signals, and EQ
changes to them, separately." Or even better, correct the plugin to match the manual, as it would be a useful feature.
