Let me think about compatibility issues for amethyst. If we need amethyst2 we need to wait a bit. We have already a beta though.
And so do we already have an idea for Black ? I don't wanna sound like a spoiled kid, Pink is not out yet, but this new tech for attack and realease were developped for Black, so I'm wondering if the release is finally going to happen soon !

any chance of voluntary use that beta on own risk while i wait for Amethyst 2 ? :) i know that comp really shines on vocals when i hit the right spot but sometimes its so hard to find it

i was very impressed by the Amethyst audio demos where you showed of the current version and the one with the fixed comp , it was completely night and day :)

thanks for fixing it at least and i really looking forward to new Amethyst release even if i have to wait

i actually feel the Amethyst didn't get the credit it deserved
probably because the comp didn't work as good
still its eq is very good and its truly special to me
incredible to clean up and separate audio with while keeping it natural , well natural if you want you can make nice boosts too, that hi shelf did not sound bad on buses for my taste
and IMHO the Amethyst have some of the best filters i have ever used
so Amethyst+pink will be the prefect combo for me

luckily since im gonna buy Pink i will at least have one incredible comp while im waiting, but im not sure if 2500 is the best for a lead vocal, it did however work like a charm on a vocal group :) so i`ll newer know before i have tried ;)

and well on drums and bass Pink is absolutely fantastic

God bless you Acustica for being around you're my Saviour
you're recent releases is just off the charts ,
and im so pumped i just cant shut up about it hehe im so happy :D

ok i have to calm my self down and record now

Cheers

as much as i want the Black too i really don't want Acustica to rush it on this one, not the Ivory comp either
i want them to be really satisfied with it before they even thinking of releasing it
then we don't need to buy a 1176 HW ever i think,
not if they can achieve what they just did with the Pink comp :)

Eh eh we'll do everything
We have a plan, there is so much to do.

About pink, there is a lot of hype, we decided to improve the product further
Stedal sampled an other unit (from an other brand), so we'll add a preamp
We'll work on the gui department too, because in the left section (bugs apart, they reported it happens when you close and open the plug again) frequencies are difficult to spot, wings are covering levels and so on
We'll present the definitive gui around the middle of the week.

Next step is about debugging program dependant devices like murano and ultramarine.

Just thinking, Core8 has (big) improvements for compression and EQ, will these improvements also count for sampling stuff like amps and also for reverbs?

Thanks

yes they could be applied to all other models. Anyway the big advantage now is compression and dynamic loading. Those features are more visible on compressors and equalizers.

interesting... and what could these features do/add to a tape machine? Is tape in the timeline for this year?

I'm predicting Ruby will model or be inspired by a special rare plant - the red fern.

If it's the unit I'm thinking of, then it will be a great candidate for Core8 dynamic loading and parallel band interaction too.
