If Acustica will support the plugins we'll be fine. After they get released, of course :)

If "(strips)" are considered the gain stage preamp/mojo or these devices, how come "Ivory comp" does not have one, There is no "(strip)"?

Cheers,

Hi Chris, I emailed them a couple of times and did not get any reply either. I find this quite ignorant,at least they should reply.

Regards Udo
Yes, I thought it was strange that they didn't reply. I can't see what the hold up would be, they've been beta tested and all haven't they...

no it is a "strip" too, but we prefer "comp" for it

Any hints to what Versatile EQ might be Giancarlo?

This Equalizer and Compressor are the best of the best - beating even the most famous gear! Very popular in Europe especially in Germany - very expensive Tube gear. Please do us all the favor and emulate this gear. Regards

Giancarlo

I did'nt get your opinion on the above post. Would it not be a challenge for AA to sample the exceptional Kn.f and or the Fa..man Master gear ? I definitely would buy it!

Also a request for the SPL Transient Designer. This thing is a staple in electronic dance music. I think they even have one with a tube in it now.

Simple to sample, two knobs! :)

Elisya Nvelope is a much more interesting (and harder to replicate with plugins) unit than the SPL.

I know it my friend because i have one in my rack and it's different than SPL Transient Designer and can make a lot of things. It is one of hw pieces that made me wanna buy instant after i saw the video about Nvelope and after i bought it i start to realize what a beauty it is.You can be close enough with Izotope Alloy 2 with multiband transient with a little saturation and with a baxandall low shelf on the eq.The unit have a bump on the lows with something similar to a baxandall low shelf and only with this too you can be close to the hw.Also the unit have a switch with full mode witch is close to SPL but the attack is different and also th hw have an eq mode and with it you have a baxandall low and high shelf. The only bad think about the unit is that if you have one you want an other one.I use daily on my drum buss and you can save your drums in many ways.If i know how to sample the unit accurate i make a library for free. Also i have a Sontec eq clone witch sound beautiful, transparent and very musical and i will be glad if i know how to make a good library.

I just figured the SPL would be a good one, and might be easy to pull off. Only 2 knobs! :)

It's probably possible, but if you want to assume that sampling ANYTHING is easy... well, with all due respect, you're wrong haha. After attempting to sample some of my equipment, I found that things didn't always turn out as I thought they should. Plenty of space for user error when you put someone inexperienced in front of NAT!

After that, I have an even larger respect towards Acustica, Gio, and all the developers out there making these! If I had better gear and more time on my hands, I'd really like to get into sampling more, but I'll gladly (read: until I'm close to broke :P ) pay for the libraries that the pros are putting out haha.
