NEBULAMAN 1.0 beta 1 (win, osx) - CLOSED

Post by zabukowski » Fri Jan 28, 2011 1:06 pm

NEW - NEW - NEW

Available for testing (now BETA !!!):

http://www.acustica-audio.com/forum/ind ... 150#p19687

Hey :D

Some good news !

Currently I am testing my new cross platform development environment. It includes frameworks/libraries for audio file management (wav, aiff etc.), sound management (asio, coreaudio), screen management and the most important - ACQUA library in all possible forms (Gian thx again) !

Finally I am back to C++ programing language, also.

Soon I will show you a simple program, which will run on the Windows and osx. It will be 32 bit for a start. After that my goal is to bring x64 version (win/osx), also.

This test program (tehnology preview) will run as a simple asio/coreaudio host. It will read and play selected sound file . It will load any Nebula program from the repository. Audio file will be processed in real time with this program.

Funny thing is, that this developement environment allows Linux versions (jack, ALSA), also (except Acqua). Let's convince Gian to port Nebula to Linux (joke)

Stay tuned !

Well, you are too fast for me, hehe

App will be just a tehnology preview - first result of my new crossplatform developement environment. It will not be a real product. Components used in it will be a foundation for new developements - on both Win and osx sides at once (if everything goes well).

Hope it is more clear now!

NebulaMan 0.2 win 32 bit

Post by zabukowski » Fri Feb 11, 2011 4:45 pm

Ok, here it is ...

Remember, this is a tehnology preview - the first result of my new crossplatform developement environment.

It's a simple 32bit program (runs on x64 Windows, too) - audio file player, which can load Acqua/Nebula instance and process audio file in real time.

Please, install and try it - your feedback is very welcome. For a start, i would like to know if it's working at all and on which Windows platform it is running.

Please report bugs asap.

If everything goes well, this will be a huge step forward and a strong base for a further development of my programs.

You'll notice bigger installation package than with my previous releases. This is a downside, but program already contains most of the stuff needed (gui, audio i/o, acqua, file i/o), so it won't get much bigger anyway.

Current version: 0.2

Thanks for your time !!!
Enjoy

i set it to my M-audio ASIO driver, and i cant open the ASIO settings. Nothing happens with the button.

Clicking on start processing, displays a samplerate mismatch error.
