RIR Interpolation

Post by tobinho » Thu Dec 18, 2014 1:53 am

I'm quite new to Nebula and this is my first post. I want to thank the Acustica-Audio Team for creating this awesome piece of software... Sample Modeling and now Nebula - Thank You Italy :D

I just started learning NAT3. I have a lot of Reverb Impulse Responses I would like to manipulate.

Let's say I have two mono RIR's:
- A Source to Mic1 & Mic3.
Now I want to create a new interpolated Mic2, like the source was recorded by a mic somewhere between Mic1 & Mic3.

Found this link, view image at the top of page 2.
http://www.tara.tcd.ie/bitstream/handle ... sequence=1

How well does Nebula Achieve this? Any Tips and tricks, recommended templates etc...? So far I know Roomhunters made a library like this.

Kind Regards, Tobias

interesting article
We'll support a lot of things, but you need to be a 3rd party developer, and to got the knowledge... so not immediatly accessible
