Never heard about these guys, but it's seems that you both right (the pics are the same than STN web site). Those pics always confused me but I though it was for copyright protection sake ...

How did you get that ? From Eric or from your own researches ?

futur2 you're right ... it's confusing :? ...even if Eric never said that it was a M****y...

Now we need a M****y VM

Thanks for the clarification.

Being aware of the Varis from Sonic Solutions I did not find it confusing at all. Thanks for the info.

Indeed  yes it's Hand Crafted Labs.

@futur2: They seems serious about their craft ! Did you get a chance to test one of their products ? They seems to have a good range of quality tube gears.

Their Black Velvet strip and the "Faust" tube mike are tempting (actually the whole line is :) )... I wonder how STN grab one of their product and if he had a chance to test it before hand... Anyway thank you, that's definitely an interesting company.

Yes, HCL, lol.. Sonic Solution S2 is their optical/tube compressor. The VARIS look like it will keep you warm on winters evening.

I would love to see a Gates (or RETRO Instruments reproduction) Sta-Level compressor for Nebula. A rare and characterful unit! I think most of Johnny Cash's vocals went through one of these.
Also a UA 610 preamp (96k) or similar model would be nice.

Have you tried the ADL 600 (AlexB MTP)? I don't know how it compares to the UA610 sound-wise, but it could be interesting for you.
