A stereo pair of Greg's BA660. If this was sample Acustica would have one of the most versatile comp plugins ever; 5 compressors in one.

1. Fairchild 660
2. LA-2
3. N**e Console Bus limiter
4. S*L Quad limiter
5. RCA BA-6

I wonder if there's a better way to organize this - perhaps using the polling system. It would be handy to remove duplicate requests, see them all at a glance, and be able to vote for certain ones.

I'd love to see:
1. Thermionic Culture Phoenix (with proper envelope behavior)

2. Dramastic Obsidian

3. C******r TG1 (vocals, piano, drums, just so tasty)

4. C******r Curve Bender (yes, I'd prefer this over the original E*I desk because of the extra range and versatility)

5. Inward Connections Tubestep EQ (rare but very sweet and simple to use)

6. Retro Sta-Level

7. Retro 176

- I'm not so familiar with hardware, but the Curve Bender is perhaps something that is coming soon, or maybe I'm interpreting this wrong? https://primestudio.at/de/equipment

- Anyone know what this primestudio collaboration with AA is all about?

That's the original TG desk - if I recall, the channels featured a high-pass filter, and single filters for bass and treble. Some were expanded with a presence control which had selectable frequencies across the mids and highs for a peaking filter.

They no doubt sound lovely, but I'd prefer C******r's take on the circuit - it was expanded to be a much more flexible stereo 4-band EQ with additional HPF and LPF, while apparently retaining the core tone of the original as much as possible.

I'd like to have a Nebula version of the Compellor, which, in the days of using consoles, was my favourite master buss compressor.

Cheers,
Bob.

Do you know which Compellor you are most familiar with? There are more than one, and they range from pretty simple and cheap to pretty fancy and cool......
Just curious..... :P

I would love to see a cool analog limiter like a P****lum Audio PL-2 Peak Limiter. I really don't know how an analog limiter sounds but i'm curious...

Sadly, I don't remember..........
I spent months recording at Ardent & it was the one Terry Manning enjoyed at the time. I hated recording with it "on", but loved listing back to things when it was engaged.

Magic Glue!!

Cheers,
Bob.
