delete programs directly from the loader menu

Post by wakestyle » Sat Sep 08, 2012 11:49 pm

It would be handy to be able to delete programs (programs and vectors) with one command from the GUI interface.

this would be helpful, but there is at least one problem with it.

there are two parts to a 'program', the n2p and the n2v. the 'n2p' is the actual 'program' and the 'n2v' the 'vector'. so, if you really want to remove something completely, the delete function would have to remove both. the other side to this is that sometimes you can have multiple n2ps that all use the same n2v. so what if you just want to remove one single one of those n2ps, but not the others or the matching n2v? so you would really need two different commands at least, a 'delete program' and a 'delete program+vector'.

the command would have to be tucked away from the main window a bit somehow so it couldn't be done by accident.

You can rename N2P file to OLD and Nebula will not see it anymore.

Know you can do that, but its still not what was requested.

Probably not that easy to implement.

Maybe some 3rd party dev could develop a separate program to help with something like this??

i didn't think that actually deleted the n2p file.. ? i thought it just temporarily removed it from that instance. i've accidentally clicked it before and looked and the file was still there.
didn't know obama used neb..
