Request to 3rd party developers for some (hall) Reverbs

Post by burnsound » Tue Jun 01, 2010 6:35 pm

I would really love to see more reverb programs released for Nebula.

Yes I know there are already reverb programs out there- the 70, the 300, the EMT plates, the Spring reverbs. And some of these are really excellent.

But I haven't yet been satisfied with the hall programs yet. I feel like the hall programs have shown the potential of Nebula as a reverberator, but none of them has really delivered what I want. (Still, the reverb programs are better than 90% of the algorithmic rev plugs out there)

It's my understanding that it is a lot less work for developers to create reverb programs for Nebula, than for an eq. We have many great eqs for Nebula, already- so why not focus more on reverbs. (Which isn't to say that I don't want more eqs- I do!)

So what I really would love are a few hall presets that sound really good, sampled from units like the Bricasti M7, the Lex 480, 300, maybe the TC5000/6000. I don't need tweakability. I just need good sounding halls, possibly in several reverb lengths- (.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 seconds).

And I would really love for someone to revisit Nebula's ability to capture real acoustic spaces, but that's a separate topic.

Please chime in if you agree/disagree.

Yes, thank you, I have noticed those reverb programs from CDSoundmaster, but I'm not quite willing to purchase that entire pack for 1 hall program (which I have never heard).

I can understand your line of thinking

I can assure you that all the reverb programs are fantastic I used them all over a Mowtown Vibe album.

You can download a demo, I think.

You've started to contribute with very nice presets. My only request would be a system of information would benefit your customers in a positive way.

I mean creating a simple thread in this forum when something new released or organizing a newsletter sort of thing (or facebook page if easyer) would be nice. Also creating a section in Nebula menu (RTM library for example) could also be a good idea...

No, I definitely did not see those. Was wondering when you'd start sampling reverbs for nebula... Just bought a few revs, am downloading now.

Hey guys, take note here. I'm moving this to the requests section to keep "3rd Party Developers" section focused on releases and discussions of already released stuff. Thanks

P.S. rhythminmind by all means post about your new reverb 6K in the "3rd Party Developers" sections with a fresh thread 8-)
