It is indeed on the way....Console (with HP/LP filters!), compressor, 2 eq's..... you can uncross your fingers and get ready for this "suite". Really nice stuff from Alex (again, as always).

I see U73 listed in place of GMD too.

GMC was one of my first Alex B libraries. I still prefer using it for mastering over the other libraries or plugins I've acquired since.

I know that you are biased and already like the "old" version, but I have been thinking about you specifically while testing this stuff. It's really really really nice.

Both EQs are amazing, no doubt those german engineers knew what they were doing. Everything I hear from Siemens, N*****n, TAB, etc., it's simply great. They're so musical and easy that it almost feels like cheating. You won't be dissapointed a single bit, gents!

I do wonder if the Gain stepping can have smaller increments for the GMC-EQ in the proposed next version.

Totally agree with you, Mercado, on the musicality. 8-)

Also ... just how much 'better' can Alex do this?

I know [and use MFC], and how good it sounds ... but even the current GMC does something so nice. None of the other consoles can touch it. Maybe because of style, instrumentation, mix, that determines ... but for my 2 latest sessions, GMC [and EQ] took them to a beautiful, musical level. The depth, full controlled bottom end, and ability to both clear the MIDs and tame at the same time. Just love it. 8-)

Alex has been "blowing my mind" for the past year or more. This one is very very very good.
