it would be nice if you could document what parameters can be changed in your programs (i also wondered with the RAT). maybe a program screenshot?

i would love to dear a demo of this asap, and also would like to know the parameters. does it have reverb or bass/treble eq? also, would it be any good for synths in your opinion?

there were all sorts of problems in sampling amps on the andy sneap forum, are these solved?

keep up the good work :D

Will post demos ASAP.

I'll be creating audio demos today. I'll post some screen-shots along with.
These are set "amp state" programs. Intended to model the sound of running a signal thru a tube amp/speaker/mic/pre. Perfect for getting that guitar amp/speaker sound. Rolls off the highs & fattens up nicely. These are not heavily overdriven, that wasn't the intention. I find more utility with specialized tools & Yes these are very good for synths. (This amp is actually for my Rhodes/Voyager)

Here's a quick demo of the Amp Deluxe program on a clean guitar sound (Yamaha Pacifica with Fender Lace Sensor pickup) Reverb is the 'wooden' reverb from Eric's 3K-rooms library.

I used to have a Fender Champ and this program has really captured the Fender amp sound !

Overdrive guitar examples to follow. I think this could be what I've been looking for for a long time...

cheers

cheers for the demos pete! they sound good.

what would be great from rhythminmind would be an a/b test between the original amp and the nebula version with same mic setup. even better if using a rhodes :)

great demos! sounds amazing.

i see the LIQDT is set to 50% on your screen shot. does this not mean nebula is only running 50% of its shapshots of the amp and therefore only 50% of the capability for a dynamic program? is it not the case if you set LIQDT to 0% it becomes a static impulse?

Here's an example of the Amp deluxe on an overdrive guitar sound (Yamaha Pacifica with Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck pickup), overdrive (OD) from a zoom g2.1u. Reverb is the 'wooden' reverb from Eric's 3K-rooms library.

OD guitar Bypass

MD1

Red
http://www.petekelly.eclipse.co.uk/amp_ ... OD_red.mp3

PZM
http://www.petekelly.eclipse.co.uk/amp_ ... OD_PZM.mp3

I think Eric's cracked this. I've tried most cabinet simulators/amp modelling programs out there and have been disappointed with them all. I had a feeling that Nebula could pull it off. This program 'feels' like an amp, when you're playing through it !

cheers
Pete

LIQDT controls the fade time between impulses for the "smooth" functionality. It's actually not in use with these. I just left it in it's default position in case someone would ever want to activate it.

it's a pretty remarkable transformation and on my lappy speakers sounds like your playing through a real amp..impressive..
Will there be room mics in the future?..
