Oh man, along with the R2R this is the widest sound palette you can find for Nebula so far. You can go from warm, deep and rich to clear, smooth and clean... and everything in between! These 2 categories inside this library, Solid State and Tube, makes it really versatile and useful for everything that's been recorded straight to your DAW or just inside it. The old PCS was my most used library but now I'm pretty sure it'll be my 'go-to' toolbox right before a console input or a compressor 8-)

If we're really lucky, it could be the preamp section from a vintage E*I TG12345 console (Abbey Road, Dark Side of the Moon). However, my realistic guess would be the C******r TG2 recreation.

You'll have adjust the impedance of your track before inserting the mac preamp

Just kidding. Works great for everything! try it!

Just tried the preamp suite last weekend over a large 48 track mix for a client. For kicks I pre-processed every track offline 3 times using 3 different preamps to really emphasize the color differences. Sounded amazing, and the differences became quite striking. The preamp color suite is a fantastic sonic palette for mixing, especially in conjunction with the console collections. Just immaculate sounding libraries with very usable range of different colors for different applications. Well done Alex.

Hi GoldF

Could you please post some clip of before and after (of a small portion of the MIX, it NOT single instruments) with the "how it was done" (process method, like the one you have outlined above)

It would be GREATLY appreciated ;)

If you have time and you want to, of course 8-)

Hi. I'm not sure if I'll get the band's permission to post clips, but I'll ask.

As far as process I just pre-rendered the dry tracks in Nuendo and had them batch processed in Wavelab, one batch for each of the three preamps. Import back into Nuendo and then mixed as usual. Resave three copies of the same mix project, and swap out the three different source files.

It could be just 3 to 5 seconds stems... (say, 3 stems mixed
together) - that would give us a great sense of "what is going on"...

As far as rendering : why didn't you use the Renderer ?

Do you prefer to batch process in WL ?

Thanks man
