Brother of the VBP, vintage gold reverb

Sampled with great care, this is a very low artifact sample set of the Classic 240. The low noise avoids any added brightness to the impulses.

4 sample rates
All in one Interpolated lengths
Clean and Harmonic versions
Jpn N4/N3 skins, 2 styles of skins provided

Just bought it and testing on some lead vocals! Sounding really good! Clean, deep and detailed I would say.
Also the addition of clean and normal versions are cool, as the normal versions have thicker texture.

This takes well some mods to the signal before hitting the plate on aux. Such as running readelay with some filters, pre-delay with little bit of feedback and bit reduction makes it dirtier but still deep!

Have not compared to EAR plates or VNXT yet but this is just different sonically which I could tell from the first listen.

Skin makes it so much nicer to work with.

Thank you Tim!

Uhh its quite of a CPU hog... Can't even hear it for a second before my pro tools gives up. Same with clean version any sample rate. But very very nice sounding now that I rendered processed track: https://youtu.be/hUUsQzhu5BM Excellent work Tim!

It's based on a 14*..... I could just suggest to use as a send with a pre eq high shelf boost if you feel it's a little dark. The noise ended up very low, almost non exsistant, This is a good thing in ir reverbs as the noise tends to become part of the reverb.

Just demoed and definitely picking it up - has a lot of depth, kind of like the plate version of sum 100a 8-)

Superb sounding reverb! I like the dark tone. Used it this afternoon as a gated reverb on a snare - was exactly the sound I was looking for. Thx Tim :D

Thanks guys.

Just a note, remember always match your sample rates to DAW sample rates. turns out someone found out they were using 96k and src'n to 44.1k, this of course sometimes leads to the halfing the response (darkening the reverb) as a lot of times you cannot src these huge reverbs. Always match the sample rate, even with my other libraries, the filtering is very good with my conversion. Plus src in nebula to a lower rate can truncate the pre ringing, which is bad news
